12/20 Tractor

Engine:- Horizontal 2 stroke Single Cylinder Diesel

Output:- 12hp drawbar & 20hp belt.

Production Years:- 1935 to 1938

Colour:- Mainly green with red steel wheels. Options of battleship grey or maroon.

Units Made:- approx. 190

Price New:- £285 with steel wheels.

A much smaller tractor than the 18.30.

Options included pneumatic tyres and a choice of two rear mounted winches, popular with thrashing contractors.

Model M Tractor

Engine:- Horizontal 2 stroke Single Cylinder Diesel

Output:- 14hp drawbar & 22hp belt.

Production Years:- 1938 to 1945

Colour:- Green with silver wheels (early models) & green with red wheels (later models).

Units Made:- approx. 890 to 1000

Price New:- £375.

The updated 12/20 was relaunched as the Model M. The photograph above was taken in No. 1 Yard at Britannia Works in 1996.
