Straw Elevator

Construction:- Mostly wood.

Production Years:- circa 1870 to 1930s

Colour:- Pink or Salmon.

Price New:- In 1888 £45 to £51

Awarded first prize of £10 at the Royal Show Cardiff in 1872.

Used for elevating hay, clover, sheaves and loose corn on to stacks during harvest and for elevating straw from a thrashing machine instead of using manual labour.
