Production Years:- circa 1890 to 1930s

 The ‘Locomobile’ was developed from the semi-portable steam engine into an economical and highly mechanical efficient superheated steam engine.

They were specifically suited to the generation of electricity, due to their reliability and steady running.

In 1917 a 250hp version was built for use in the Britannia Works.
